Founded by Laura in 2015, Loubud Wines specializes in small-production, traditional method sparkling wines from the cool-climate vineyards of Santa Barbara County. Named after Laura’s childhood nickname, Loubud reflects a personal touch that runs through every bottle.

With winemaking roots in Napa, Burgundy, and South Africa, and a degree in Viticulture & Enology from UC Davis, Laura brings a thoughtful, sustainable approach to site-driven wines. In 2023, her husband Paul joined the adventure—bringing his hand-carved wooden puzzles and sparking the idea of bubbles & puzzles, a playful pairing that defines the Loubud experience.

Today, you can find them pouring in their new tasting room in downtown Santa Barbara, where guests are welcomed with wine, puzzles, and a tail wag from their dog, Taco.
